I am a qualified Civil Engineer with TEN years of experience with particular
experience in infrastructure projects. I have worked with consultants’ clients and
contractors with experience encompassing, aspects of design, supervision of works,
quality of works, tendering, preparation of Bill of Quantities, planning, preparation of
drawings and technical coordination. My experience includes working in capacities,
such as, Site Engineer, Design Engineer, Technical Coordinator and Senior Project
Engineer.
Structural Design Works Experience

: The project is a Green field Airport located at Hyderabad,
India. It involved constructing an airport from scratch. The
two main contractors were 1. M/S China state construction
company, Hongkong for the Passenger Terminal Building
and Air Traffic Control Tower and 2. M/S Larsen & Toubro,
India for the Runway, Taxiway, Apron, Approach Road,
Cargo Terminal Building, MRO Building and all other
buildings on the Airside.
The architects were Arup from Hongkong and the
consultants were Cowi Avia Plan.
Nature of work : Inspection and approval of all concrete works for the
passenger Terminal Building (60,000 m2) and the ATC
Tower (75 m in height), which was cast using jump
formwork. The work included checking of rebars,
coordination with MEP team, approval of construction joints
and pouring sequence.
: Inspection and approval of all steel fabrication works for the
roof of the Passenger Terminal Building (3500 tons), Aero
Bridges (800 tons), ATC roof and internal staircase (650
tons). Work included dimensional check, inspection of
material after die penetration & X-ray test. Inspection of
weld, sand blasting and painting and providing proposals to
rectify structural mis-match prior to erection
: Inspection and approval of all finishing works such as false
roofing, bull nose, façade works, tensile fabric roofing,
granite flooring and internal dry wall partitions
: Monitoring of Progress, sticking to deadlines and planning
for the next activity in terms of manpower, machinery and
scope of work.
: Monitoring of Quality of works being executed as per the
Engineers Requirement (ER) and approved method
statements. The above involved interpreting the ER in cases
of disputes, and sending site notices in case of any non-
conformities
